Who is Lewie and what is the background of your dealership?

Lewis Smith, founded Lewie's RV Center in 1980.  He started out as a used car dealer in 1976 and moved up to RV's in 1980.  In 1983 his daughter, Teresa Giese, joined him as a sales person and in 1984 they took on the Wilderness franchise.  In 1987, Andria Rivers, another daughter joined the staff as bookkeeper.
 
In 1987 they moved from their location in front of the WestGate Mall to their current location, 12 acres on highway 371 north of Brainerd/Baxter.  They have had four building expansions since the move.

On January 3rd, 2002 Lewie retired and sold the business to his daughters Teresa Giese and Andria Rivers.  They plan to continue the family tradition of offering quality products and services for their customers for many years to come.
